Pressure Treated Timber
All the timber used is pressure treated. The process forces preservative into the timber for long-lasting protection.
The treatment is applied before we build, so timber hidden by the build is protected.
Free Clear Waterproof Paint
All our timber buildings are coated with one coat of clear preservative, over the pressure treated timber during construction, before leaving the factory. This is not intended to be the final covering.
Pressure treated timber will perform for many years against rot. Once a year we recommend that you give your shed or summerhouse a coat of an oil-based waterproof paint or repellent to protect it during the harsh weather we get in the UK.
